Holistic therapies are numerous and aim to work in unison with the natural functions of the body. The individuality of the client is taken into account, so there is no standard treatment as different processes will work for different individuals. The following therapies are offered:
During assessments, time and again it becomes apparent there are various aches and pains to muscles and joints in the physical body.
As an assessment progresses important information allows a picture to be formed, information can be extracted to determine therapy choice which best suits the clients needs. Therapy guidance will be provided to bring awareness, to the Client, as to why their posture may be poor.
On many occasions an individual may not be aware their posture is poor, which in the long term may become a problem to physical health, so education and guidance is important. Other individuals may be aware posture is poor and there will be many reasons why, some may be due to the skeletal development or poor muscle control, resulting from many different reasons i.e head injury or stroke to name just a few. Another reason for poor posture could be seating positions, be it at home, in the work place and/or from hobby choices.
Guidance and education will be provided during an assessment or at the start of treatment programme.

The Rosen Method focuses on the inter-relationship between a client's tense muscles, breath and emotional issues, using a gentle touch that "listens" rather than manipulates. Our Practitioner feels for where there is tension in the body and explores what might be underlying and why this person has learnt to hold themselves in a particular way.
Over time, the person starts to become more aware of how they hold tension and why, and from this comes the choice to do things differently. With awareness, the muscles can soften and allow more breath to flow through the body which in turn brings balance to the mind and body.

Meditation can bring about clarity of the mind, giving clear thought processes. It can be used with guided imagery and coloured imagery which helps to focus a client’s mind; bringing the body, mind and spirit to a point of passive awareness which also aids the relaxation process. It may also be incorporated with other therapies and in turn can bring changes within oneself on a mental, emotional, physical and spiritual level. Meditation can aid relaxation by reducing stress and anxieties. It also helps induce muscular relaxation.
NLP is the study of how we know what we know. It allows us to mentally evaluate how we do what we do. It examines the relationships between thought, communication and behaviour. NLP has extensive techniques for intervening with problematic situations, thus allowing positive change quickly and effectively to thoughts, behaviours and beliefs which may not be working for you. It also allows the recall of successful thought patterns which have been the result of positive previous experiences.
Working with the processes of the mind and body, TPM can help people with emotional, mental and physical traumas, often incorporating NLP.
